Job summary

Penspen is urgently seeking a Senior Engineer - QA/QC (Mech/EI/Civil) for an offshore PMC project in the UAE. The role requires ensuring compliance with API, ASME, and ISO standards across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.

Responsibilities include reviewing ITPs and QA/QC procedures, conducting site inspections, managing NCRs, and coordinating with engineering, procurement and construction teams to drive quality through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 15 to 18+ years in mechanical QA/QC experience in offshore Oil & Gas.
• 5–10+ years in Offshore projects; ADNOC or similar environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QA/QC compliance with project specs, codes, and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
• Review ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct site inspections for piping, equipment installation, welding, and mechanical completion.
• Witness testing activities and pre-commissioning.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams on quality matters.
