Job summary

ADNOC is seeking a Senior Production Optimization Engineer - Offshore to provide specialized technical guidance to Subsurface and Surface Teams, optimizing production and integrating well and surface models to maximize asset value.

You will lead development of Production Optimization frameworks, review performance against standards, mentor teams, and support safe, cost-effective execution of optimization activities within ADNOC Offshore.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance to asset teams on production optimization activities.
• Support integration of Production Optimization with other Petroleum Engineering disciplines.
• Promote coherent integration between well and surface models to maximize asset value.
• Provide technical leadership in developing and implementing high-level Production Optimization frameworks.
• Apply processes and technical expertise to maximize asset value.
• Review Production Optimization activities against Asset and ADNOC Offshore requirements.
• Support safe and cost-effective execution of optimization activities.
• Support implementation of the Technical Center Subsurface and DM strategy.
• Identify technical challenges affecting ADNOC Offshore operations.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, techniques and software solutions.
• Assess suitability of proposed solutions for Production Optimization challenges.
• Promote adoption of new methodologies and technologies.
• Promote industry practices to enhance production and mitigate risks.
• Provide guidance for the design and delivery of specialist Production Optimization programs.
• Develop capabilities across ADNOC Offshore.
• Advise on performance frameworks and KPIs.
• Develop standard practices and guidelines and promote their application.
• Encourage continuous improvement and peer reviews.
• Capture lessons learned and promote knowledge sharing across Assets.
• Coordinate with ADNOC HQ and other OPCOs on Production Optimization activities.
• Deliver in-house Production Optimization training courses.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate activities and develop assigned personnel.
• Support staff development to strengthen proficiency.
