Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi is seeking a Specialist Process Engineer for an offshore project. The role focuses on safe, reliable water injection facilities, leading process engineering, and ensuring compliance with client specs and standards.

The ideal candidate has 15–18 years in Oil & Gas process engineering, offshore brownfield experience, and proficiency with FEED, detailed design, EPC, and commissioning phases. ADNOC/Middle East exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
Master's Degree is an added advantage.
CEng or equivalent professional registration preferred.
15 – 18 years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects.
Minimum 5 years in offshore brownfield projects.
Strong experience in offshore water injection facilities and produced water systems.
Proven involvement in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Commissioning, and Start-up phases.
ADNOC Offshore or Middle East project experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead offshore water injection system design and related facilities.
Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, Process Design Basis, and engineering calculations.
Perform hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, simulations and evaluations.
Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA and MOC activities for brownfield work.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical and Operations teams.
Review vendor documents and provide technical support during EPC and commissioning.
Support offshore site surveys and startup and performance testing.
