Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery in a PMC environment.

Strong leadership and adherence to ADNOC standards are essential. The role requires extensive offshore/onshore oil and gas project experience, coordination with EPC contractors, and rigorous HSE oversight to meet project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction, supervision, or project execution within oil and gas.
• At least 5 years in construction supervision on major EPC projects.
• Experience in PMC or client-representative roles preferred.
• Proven experience with ADNOC standards and applicable QA/QC requirements.
• Strong leadership, coordination and HSE-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities by EPC contractors and subcontractors across disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, project specifications, ADNOC standards, ITPs, and QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams.
• Promote HSE compliance and safety culture, participate in safety walks and audits as required.
• Provide accurate progress updates and support handover, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
