Job summary

Ejadah is seeking an experienced Senior Officer – Maintenance to supervise maintenance activities for industrial laundry production and utility systems. You will maximise equipment availability, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure safety compliance across mechanical, electrical and automation/PLC disciplines.

You will lead multidisciplinary technicians, plan maintenance with minimal disruption, monitor performance metrics and prepare routine reports for the Chief

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–8 years of maintenance experience within an industrial laundry, hospitality or process plant environment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial laundry equipment and utility systems.
• Good knowledge of Automation, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Health & Safety and/or Boiler Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical and automation/PLC teams.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal operational disruption.
• Ensure staff training, certifications and safety compliance.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance progress.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs and AMC providers for support.
• Support commissioning, upgrades and improvements of equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs and asset registers.
• Report downtime, MTTR, PM/PPM metrics and recurring faults.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for the Chief Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe working practices.

The role will focus on maximising equipment availability, ensuring effective preventive and corrective maintenance, maintaining safety standards, and minimising operational downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplinary technicians across Mechanical, Electrical and Automation/PLC disciplines.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure technicians are appropriately trained, certified and compliant with safety requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs and AMC service providers for maintenance and technical support.
• Support equipment commissioning, upgrades and improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs and asset registers.
• Monitor and report key maintenance indicators including downtime, MTTR, PPM completion and recurring faults.
• Prepare daily and weekly maintenance performance reports for the Chief Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe working practices.
