Job summary

Astra Tech Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Architect/Engineer with a focus on Offensive Security, Red Team, AI Security and Enterprise Security Architecture.

The role will design, implement and validate security controls across cloud-native environments, applications, infrastructure, and AI-enabled platforms, driving secure development and robust threat mitigation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering or architecture experience.
• At least 5 years leading offensive security engagements or security assessments.
• Experience coordinating Red/Blue/Purple Team activities.
• Strong knowledge of common attack techniques (SQLi, XSS, SSRF, RCE, IDOR).
• Experience with Windows/Linux, enterprise networks, identity systems, and privilege escalation.
• Familiar with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap and Nessus.

Responsibilities

• Lead offensive security engagements, including planning, scoping, execution, and reporting.
• Manage internal Red Team resources and external VAPT providers.
• Translate findings into remediation and detection improvements.
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines (SAST/DAST/SCA).
• Define cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid security controls and guardrails.
• Lead security operations, threat detection, and incident response activities.
• Oversee AI security controls for AI/ML lifecycles and LLM apps.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security across SDLC.
