Job summary

Astra Tech is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Architect/Engineer specializing in Offensive Security, Red Team operations, AI Security, and Enterprise Security Architecture. You will design, implement, and validate enterprise security controls across cloud-native environments, applications, infrastructure, and AI-enabled platforms.

You will lead DevSecOps and secure engineering, cloud and enterprise security, security operations, threat detection, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity engineering or architecture experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading offensive security engagements, Red Team, or equivalent security assessments.
• Experience coordinating Red, Blue, and Purple Team activities.
• Strong understanding of common attack techniques (SQLi, XSS, SSRF, RCE, IDOR).
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD security, container security, and IaC scanning.
• Cloud security architecture expertise, preferably Microsoft Azure; AWS/multi‑cloud beneficial.
• Experience designing/implementing security controls for AI/ML lifecycles and AI security.

Responsibilities

• Lead Offensive Security engagements from planning to reporting.
• Manage internal Red Team resources and external VAPT providers.
• Execute adversarial simulations covering initial access, lateral movement, and attack paths.
• Penetration testing across web apps, infrastructure, networks, and enterprise environments.
• Lead Purple Team exercises to validate detection and response capabilities.
• Develop attack scripts, tooling, and automate adversarial scenarios.
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD with SAST/DAST/SCA/IaC scanning.
• Implement security gates, policy-as-code, and security validation workflows.
• Embed security controls across containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security throughout SDLC.
• Automate security checks, compliance validation, and remediation.
