Job summary

CNTXT AI in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a hands-on Security Lead to own cybersecurity across cloud, application, and data platforms. You will shape and implement security strategy, govern risk, and build the security foundations for an ambitious scale‑up, including threat modeling, SCA, SAST/DAST, and incident response.

You will lead IAM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management while maturing security monitoring and compliance as CNTXT grows.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in security engineering, with 2–3 years in a lead or ownership role
• Deep hands-on experience across cloud security, application security, IAM, offensive security, or incident response
• Strong cloud security expertise on GCP/AWS/Azure, plus Kubernetes and IaC (Terraform)
• Experience implementing DDoS mitigation, WAF, SIEM, EDR, and secrets management tooling
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Go, Bash) and ability to communicate risk clearly

Responsibilities

• Define and drive CNTXT's security roadmap, risk register, and policies
• Secure the SDLC end-to-end: threat modeling, SCA, SAST/DAST in CI/CD
• Harden cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure) and implement IaC guardrails
• Own IAM across cloud, SaaS, and internal systems with least privilege
• Plan and conduct VA/PT and manage external pentest and red-team engagements
• Establish incident response, backup, DR, and business continuity practices
• Secure data pipelines and ML/AI workloads; assess AI-specific risks
