Job summary

King’s College Hospital Dubai is seeking an experienced senior nurse to lead and coordinate the clinical nursing team on busy shifts. The post holder will deputize as nurse in charge in the absence of senior managers, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with pathways.

Responsibilities include directing the nursing team, maintaining documentation, coordinating with MDTs, and delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and UAE DHA license or eligibility.
• Proven leadership and supervision of nursing teams.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary teams and patients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical expertise and oversee care on shift.
• Deputize as nurse in charge in absences; supervise and allocate tasks.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs with the team.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely handovers.
• Communicate with MDT and educate patients and families.
