Job summary

Dicetek LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior Network Architect to design, develop, and secure complex enterprise networks, voice services, and security architectures to ensure high availability of digital services.

You will lead and mentor the network team, review policies, coordinate with vendors, and drive continuous improvements. Strong experience in network security, firewall and load balancer management, and cloud connectivity is required.

Qualifications

Job description

• Provide advanced technical expertise in designing and developing networks, voice services, and network security solutions to ensure the continuous operation of digital products and services at the highest standards of quality and reliability.


• Supervise, guide, and develop the network team members, assigning tasks, reviewing technical deliverables, transferring knowledge, and building capabilities to ensure high-quality and continuous delivery of network and network security services.


• Review and enhance operational policies and procedures for networks and voice services to ensure compliance with international standards and best practices.


• Lead the design and development of network architecture and standards, ensuring integration within the Authority’s institutional framework to support the expansion and continuity of digital services.


• Monitor network performance, deploy network security solutions, conduct operational and stress tests, perform capacity planning, implement load balancing, and ensure alignment of solutions with end-user requirements.


• Analyze network requirements and contribute to designing network and security solutions to achieve optimal performance, scalability, and future readiness.


• Coordinate with external vendors to secure the best technical solutions and services in accordance with the operational requirements of the Authority and its clients.


• Conduct advanced technical analyses to diagnose network failures, resolve operational issues efficiently, and propose and implement continuous improvements to enhance network performance.


• Ensure timely implementation of software and hardware updates and upgrades in coordination with technical teams to maintain compatibility and optimal performance.


• Develop operational manuals and technical guidelines for data networks, voice services, and security solutions, and provide advanced technical support as needed.


• Provide recommendations and solutions to enhance network readiness, reliability, and operational efficiency, monitoring KPIs and analyzing data to propose continuous improvements.


• Ensure application of network security best practices according to global standards through proactive auditing of hardware and software components.


• Manage, administer, and tune firewall platforms across the Authority’s environments, including firewall policy and rule lifecycle management, periodic rule reviews and clean-up, performance tuning, and configuration hardening in line with approved security standards.


• Manage and maintain load balancers and application delivery controllers, including load distribution policies, web application firewall (WAF) policies, SSL/TLS certificates and offloading, and high-availability configurations to ensure optimal and secure delivery of digital services.


• Operate and maintain network security services, including VPN and secure remote access, intrusion prevention and detection systems (IPS/IDS), network access control (NAC), network segmentation, and DDoS protection, and ensure their continuous effectiveness and availability.


• Coordinate with cybersecurity and security operations teams on threat monitoring, vulnerability remediation, security incident response, and audit requirements affecting the network and its security platforms.


• Design, operate, and secure wireless networks, SD-WAN, and cloud network connectivity, ensuring reliable and secure integration with the Authority’s network and security architecture.


• Support technical teams in integrating networks with new systems and software, and participate in digital infrastructure expansion and development projects.


• Participate in institutional, local, and international meetings, committees, and task forces related to network and telecommunications management, representing the Authority as required.

Professional Certificates/Programs

Specialized training programs and certificates in preparing and developing network policies and procedures, managing and designing networks, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring network and digital infrastructure security, analyzing network risks and vulnerabilities, testing network performance, cloud computing and data protection, business continuity and disaster recovery, compliance with local and international regulations, IoT and mobile security, and the use of artificial intelligence in network threat detection.

Additionally, these programs cover project management, information security, corporate governance, quality and excellence standards, organizational innovation, creativity, effective performance indicators, total quality management, operations management, and service quality.

Preferred professional certifications include CCNP Security or CCIE Security, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, F5 load balancing certifications, CISSP, or equivalent certifications in network engineering, network security, firewall, and load balancer administration.
