Job summary

Mindpool Technologies Limited in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Network Security L2 Support Engineer to join a technical team. The role targets 7–10 years in enterprise networking and security with Cisco routing/switching expertise.

You will handle L2 incidents, perform configurations, troubleshoot FortiGate firewall environments, and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution. UAE-based face-to-face interview is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional experience in network support or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.
• Experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN, VLANs, STP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience with enterprise firewall technologies (FortiGate).
• Knowledge of NAT, ACLs, IPsec and VPNs.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ServiceNow is a plus.
• CCNA/CCNP and Fortinet certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle L2 network incidents and security incidents.
• Configure and troubleshoot across enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN environments.
• Troubleshoot Cisco routing/switching infrastructure.
• Manage NAT, ACLs, IPsec and remote access VPN technologies.
• Coordinate with vendors/ISPs for issue resolution and changes.
• Support network upgrades and migration activities.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
