Job summary

Client of Alpha Data Recruitment seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, operate and secure an enterprise network spanning offices, data centres and cloud environments in the United Arab Emirates.

You will lead network changes, troubleshoot outages and maintain high availability across wired, wireless, voice and contact centre services, with hands-on Microsoft Azure networking experience required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on enterprise network administration in large Cisco environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/CE/Electronics or related discipline.
• Practical experience with Azure and AWS networking, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, F5 and enterprise wireless.
• Ability to explain incidents and coordinate changes under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Configure Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches and ISR routers across LAN, WAN and SD‑WAN environments.
• Administer FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs and IPS.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure virtual networks, peering, network security groups and hybrid connections.
• Conduct wireless site surveys, configure Cisco and Huawei wireless LAN controllers and access points.
• Manage network health and device lifecycles with Cisco Prime Infrastructure and Catalyst Center.
