Job summary

ADIV Human Resources Consultancies, L.L.C. seeks a Network Engineer in Dubai to manage and secure our office networks and infrastructure. You will configure switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs and wireless systems, ensure IDS/IPS, backups, and ongoing hardening.

The role requires CCNA/CCNP and Fortinet NSE certifications, a bachelor’s in IT, and hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet devices. You’ll work on security policies, audits, and weekend maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
• CCNA/CCNP certifications are mandatory.
• Fortinet NSE certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures and maintains network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, VPNs and VOIP devices.
• Monitors and enhances network security, including ACLs, segmentation, IPS/IDS and NAC.
• Performs level 1 & 2 troubleshooting for internet outages and slowness.
• Configures and patches Cisco devices and FortiGate firewalls.
• Monitors NAS storage and backup solutions; manages Cisco Meraki APs.
• Implements intrusion detection systems and privacy protections on firewalls.
• Coordinates with ISPs for service installation and maintenance.
• Conducts training sessions for employees.

Job description

The Network Engineer is responsible for managing the network and the security of the offices and enhance the infrastructure whenever required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, Configures and maintains the Network Infrastructure including Switches, Routers, Wireless controller, Access points, firewalls, VPN and VOIP devices.
• Identifies, monitors, and defines the requirements of the overall security of the Network including Network segregation, ACL, VDOM, IPS, NAC, ZTNA, Virus protection and Deep inspection.
• Performs level 1 & 2 troubleshooting for Issues related to internet outages/slowness.
• Configures, Patches and monitors Cisco devices and FortiGate Firewalls.
• Monitors and administrates the NAS Storage, and Backup Solutions.
• Manages Cisco Meraki Access points and apply the enhancement to the network coverage.
• Configures and implementing intrusion detection systems on the firewalls.
• Monitors Zoho Site 24*7 tool to identify any network weaknesses and vulnerability.
• Tests and checks the network for risks in the software and hardware.
• Investigates and resolves Cybersecurity incidents whenever advised by the CSIRT.
• Performs routine vulnerability and penetration tests across network assets including servers, websites, and applications.
• Develops and maintains up-to-date physical and logical network diagrams.
• Verifies and applying patches to network devices as needed.
• Ensures secure backups of network software/firmware.
• Identifies, monitors, and defines the requirements of the overall security of the system.
• Maintains firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security.
• Investigates intrusion and hacking incidents, collecting incident responses, and carrying out forensic investigations.
• Modifies the technical, legal, and regulatory aspects of the system security.
• Defines and maintains information security policies.
• Works outside regular hours or weekends to run the regular maintenance and update of the network.
• Creates, updates and revises network related Polices and Procedure.
• Participates in the External Audit and provide the required documentation/evidence.
• Meets external users and customers to troubleshoot the network related issues.
• Coordinates with ISP providers for service installation or maintenance.
• Conducts training session for the employees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT fields.
