Job summary

SEHA's Tawam Hospital in Al Ain seeks a Consultant in Neonatology to lead clinical care, supervise junior staff, and ensure continuous coverage. The role drives performance management, audits and adherence to hospital policies while collaborating with other specialties.

You will engage in CME, clinical research, and education, while advancing best practices and patient safety across the department. Experience in internationally accredited institutes and DOH licensure eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and Neonatology specialization are required.
• Minimum 5 years post-specialization Neonatology experience.
• Licensure by DOH Abu Dhabi or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ward rounds and reassess inpatients and outpatients.
• Ensure adequate medical coverage within the Division at all times.
• Oversee junior medical staff and supervise clinical care.
• Document clinical information clearly and promptly per procedures.
• Promote quality improvement, audits and incident reporting.
• Support CME, clinical research and publication initiatives.
