Job summary

NEW Alfa International in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Service Engineer – Radiology to lead installation, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of MRI systems.

You will diagnose and resolve issues via remote and on-site support, manage escalations, ensure safety and quality standards, and maintain service records. A biomedical engineering degree and 8+ years MRI field service experience are required. Siemens/Philips MRI familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in MRI field service.
• Strong hands-on experience with MRI installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance.
• Experience with Siemens and/or Philips MRI systems is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of remote diagnostics and technical escalation management.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturer certifications in MRI systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of MRI systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues through remote and on-site support.
• Handle escalations and coordinate with related teams for timely resolution.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and healthcare facilities.
• Maintain accurate service reports and equipment records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturer standards.
