Job summary

Mashreq is seeking a skilled Corporate Documentation professional in the UAE to safeguard the bank’s interests through binding credit facility and security documents, ensuring timely processing and compliance with laws. The role requires reviewing documents, managing risks, and guiding the team on SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Safeguard bank's interest by ensuring legally binding credit facility and security documents are in place according to policies and guidelines.
• Review all documents for order and enforceability per local laws.
• Identify risks and controls in RCSA and keep up to date.
• Provide guidance and training to the team as required.
• Align SOPs with bank and regulatory policy guidelines and ensure adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a checker for all documentation unit activities.
• Manage resources efficiently to accomplish tasks in the department.
• Plan, develop and execute improvements, coordinate resources for special projects.
• Review current processes and pursue automation improvements where appropriate.
• Ensure terms in credit approvals are reflected in facility agreements and related documents.
• Obtain securities/insurance prior to releasing limits or obtain waivers as needed.
• Ensure documents are reviewed and signed before limit release and stored securely.
• Sign-off on facility agreements as authorized signatory.
• Conduct annual review of physical documentation and review when accounts are downgraded.
• Capture exceptions in MIS and monitor resolution.
• Ensure staff MBO/KPI are completed to meet corporate objectives.
• Provide advice to stakeholders and liaise with Legal Dept on issues.
• Translate facility conditions to Arabic accurately.
• Maintain back-up plans and ensure safe custody of documents.
• Maintain audit rating as 'Satisfactory' and implement audit recommendations.
