Job summary

The Institute for Healthier Living Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist, Molecular & Genomics Applications to join our onsite genomics lab in Abu Dhabi. You will lead molecular workflow optimization and supervise junior staff while ensuring compliance with international standards.

You will perform DNA/RNA extraction, NGS library prep, PCR/qPCR workflows, and validation of assays per CAP, ISO 15189, CLSI/CLIA, and GMP guidelines, while advancing LIMS use and KPI-driven

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years in a senior MLT role in molecular/genomics.
Proven expertise in DNA/RNA extraction, troubleshooting, optimization.

Responsibilities

Perform and troubleshoot DNA/RNA extraction processes.
Set up new assays and support workflow expansion.
Undertake manual NGS library preparations for short and long reads.
