Job summary

Abu Dhabi Store seeks a seasoned Microfinance Program Manager to oversee microfinance initiatives, develop inclusion strategies, and expand access to affordable financial services. The role focuses on microcredit programs, literacy, lending operations, and community development in the UAE.

The candidate will monitor portfolios, assess credit risk, and collaborate with financial institutions and development partners to ensure sustainable impact and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Background in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Understanding of microfinance operations, financial inclusion, lending processes, and credit management.
• Knowledge of loan assessment, portfolio monitoring, repayment analysis, and credit risk evaluation.
• Familiarity with financial literacy programs and community development initiatives.
• Understanding of financial regulations, responsible lending practices, and consumer protection.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
• Familiarity with microfinance platforms is an advantage.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee microfinance programs to improve access to financial services.
• Develop financial inclusion strategies supporting individuals, small businesses, and underserved communities.
• Coordinate microcredit initiatives, loan distribution, and repayment monitoring processes.
• Assess funding applications, evaluate borrowers' needs, repayment capacity, and eligibility.
• Establish program objectives, procedures, and performance indicators.
• Monitor loan portfolios, repayment rates, credit risks, and overall performance.
• Build partnerships with financial institutions, NGOs, government agencies, and development partners.
• Organize financial literacy workshops to promote responsible financial management.
