Credit Manager — UAE Lending & Forfaiting

Zusammenfassung

Proteinea is seeking a senior credit professional to support UAE lending and forfaiting growth. You will assess creditworthiness, develop underwriting policies and monitor portfolio quality to ensure sound transaction execution and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on UAE experience with 7–10 years in credit analysis, SME or corporate lending, and knowledge of credit policy development and governance. CFA/FRM preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years of credit analysis, SME or corporate lending experience.
• Experience with trade finance and UAE lending requirements.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and credit bureau practices.

Aufgaben

• Conduct credit assessments of borrowers, merchants, counterparties and banks.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flows and credit documents to assess repayment capacity.
• Prepare credit proposals with facility amounts, terms and conditions for approval.
• Develop and maintain credit policies, underwriting criteria and workflows.
• Assess forfaiting transactions and country exposure within lending and forfaiting.
• Contribute to product development by defining credit eligibility criteria.
• Monitor portfolio performance and alert for early warning indicators.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance teams.
• Maintain complete credit documentation and prepare regular reports for management.
• Review and improve credit policies as the business grows.
