Job summary

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a skilled MEP Network Engineer to oversee the interface between external utility networks and building MEP systems for a large-scale Design & Build development on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The role sits within the utilities team and ensures internal systems connect correctly to external feeds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related MEP discipline — mandatory.
• Membership or working towards membership of a recognised professional body (IMechE, IET, CIBSE or equivalent) — advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review internal plumbing and sanitary designs to verify connection to external potable water network.
• Check LV electrical distribution and metering to external ADDC parameters.
• Coordinate with design consultant's MEP and utilities leads to resolve interface issues.
• Support BIM/3D coordination reviews for clash-free integration of MEP systems.
