Job summary

Imdaad LLC. in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to lead operation and maintenance within a facility management framework.

You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, coordinating with supervisors and contractors to ensure reliability and compliance. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, PE licensure, and at least five years of practice in commercial or industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• PE licensure or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of MEP engineering experience in facility management.
• Knowledge of NFPA, ASHRAE and local codes.
• Strong project and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation with supervisors and close work orders.
• Oversee MEP systems operation and maintenance for optimal performance.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for MEP equipment.
• Manage MEP-related projects from inception to completion.
• Provide technical support to facility management teams.
• Prepare and review drawings, specs, and reports.
• Control budgets for maintenance and projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to meet quality and timelines.
• Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce consumption.
• Stay updated on codes and best practices.
• Assist Facilities Manager with day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Perform snagging and DE snagging as needed.
