Job summary

Professional Engineers Electro Mechanical Contracting (PECO MEP) in Dubai seeks a Senior MEP Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across multiple projects on-site.

You will plan, schedule, coordinate with clients and contractors, manage budgets and timelines, review submittals, and mentor project teams while ensuring compliance with UAE codes and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 15+ years of experience in MEP construction projects.
• 15+ years of relevant UAE experience in MEP construction.
• Proven experience managing major MEP projects in high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, MEP regulations, authority requirements, and project specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project teams, subcontractors, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of MEP construction projects, ensuring timely completion within approved budgets and quality standards.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, execution, monitoring, and progress reporting.
• Supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and other MEP installation works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with drawings, specifications, and authority standards.
• Review and monitor project drawings, submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Monitor project costs, variations, procurement activities, and subcontractor performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to resolve issues.
• Ensure QA/QC, HSE, and environmental requirements are implemented.
• Monitor milestones and address delays and resource constraints.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, inspections, approvals, snagging, and handover.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.
• Lead and mentor project engineers, site engineers, and supervisors.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural, and structural teams.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure contractual obligations are met.
