Job summary

Dutco Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead MEP for high-end villa developments and mixed-use projects in the UAE. You will oversee design reviews, site supervision, and coordination with consultants and subcontractors to ensure on-time handover.

The role requires 10–15 years in Tier 1 contracting, UAE/GCC experience, and a strong background in HVAC design, duct/pipe sizing, and functional testing.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering in Tier 1 contracting companies
• Experience delivering high-end villas, luxury residential developments and large-scale projects in the UAE
• Strong contracting background with involvement from design review through execution and handover
• UAE/GCC construction experience mandatory

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical teams on site and monitor installation
• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors for design reviews and constructability
• Manage authority approvals (DM, DCD, DEWA, RTA, etc.)
• Review and approve shop drawings; ensure QA/QC procedures
• Mentor junior engineers and plan resource allocation
• Oversee design reviews, value engineering and design optimization
• Ensure timely project handover and comprehensive close-out documentation
