Job summary

Consultant HSS in Dubai seeks a senior MEP Mechanical Engineer to lead design for building and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and fuel gas systems while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and client specifications.

The role requires 12–15 years of consultancy experience, strong AutoCAD/Revit MEP/HAP skills, and the ability to guide junior engineers and BIM teams across multidisciplinary projects. Dubai-based residency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 12–15 years of professional experience in MEP mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design and thermal load calculations.
• Experience with consultancy and multidisciplinary projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP; Navisworks desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for building and infra projects.
• Prepare heat load, hydraulic, duct, and pipe sizing calculations.
• Design HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and gas systems.
• Review codes, standards, and client specs.
• Coordinate designs with architecture, structure, electrical teams.
• Review drawings, submittals, equipment selections.
• Provide design reviews and guidance to junior engineers and BIM teams.
• Ensure UAE regulations and standards compliance.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, authorities, stakeholders.
• Support project managers in resolving technical issues.
