Job summary

Ohana Development in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior MEP Engineer to oversee mechanical, electrical and plumbing activities across building and villa projects. You will ensure designs, installations, and coordination meet project requirements and regulatory codes throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs, coordinating with architectural and structural teams, supporting site execution and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of relevant MEP experience in building and villa developments.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Oversee MEP engineering activities during design development and construction phases.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design and interface issues.
• Review method statements, material submittals, and technical documents related to MEP works.
• Provide engineering support to project teams during site execution and commissioning stages.
• Ensure MEP works comply with applicable codes, regulations, and client requirements.
• Support consultants and contractors to resolve technical challenges and maintain quality standards.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination workshops.
• Monitor progress of MEP works and support timely resolution of technical issues.
