Job summary

KEO International Consultants is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Ras Al Khaimah, UAE office. You will lead electrical engineering activities, coordinate with various teams, and liaise with authorities to ensure compliance and quality.

The role requires extensive UAE infrastructure project experience and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on delivering integrated MEP and telecom systems across complex infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of work experience in infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience leading electrical engineering activities and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all electrical engineering activities under the supervision scope of services.
• Oversee electrical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and specialist systems.
• Review and manage electrical design submissions, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, civil teams for fully integrated infra systems.
• Manage and review performance of electrical design consultants and contractors.
• Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and relevant stakeholders for approvals and compliance.
• Monitor technical quality, risks, and constructibility per project conditions.
• Support construction by responding to technical queries and reviewing shop drawings.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to electrical engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

This critical role will be responsible for maintaining communication with the client’s site engineers on all project-related issues, and reviewing and implementing MEP contract drawings and building specifications.

We envisage successin this role to include:

• Leading and managing all electrical engineering activities under the Supervision scope of services.

• Reviewing and managing electrical design submissions, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinating closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, and other teams to ensure fully integrated infrastructure systems.
• Managing and reviewing the performance of electrical design consultants and contractors.
• Liaising with local authorities, utility providers, and relevant stakeholders to support approvals and regulatory compliance.
• Monitoring technical quality, risks, and constructibility, with consideration for project conditions where applicable.
• Supporting construction activities by responding to technical queries, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with approved designs.
• Providing leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to electrical engineering teams.
