Job summary

KEO Group in Ras Al Khaimah invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and oversee electrical design within major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with site engineers, review drawings, manage consultants, and liaise with authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred), 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, and consultancy background in PMCM environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience.
  • Mandatory consultancy experience, preferably gained from PMCM.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing all mechanical engineering activities under the Supervision scope of services.
  • Overseeing mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection and specialist systems.
  • Reviewing and managing mechanical design submissions, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Coordinating with architectural, structural, electrical, civil, and other teams for integrated infrastructure systems.
  • Managing and reviewing performance of mechanical design consultants and contractors.
  • Liaising with local authorities, utility providers, and stakeholders to support approvals and compliance.
  • Monitoring technical quality, risks and constructibility for project conditions.
  • Supporting construction by responding to queries, reviewing shop drawings, ensuring conformance to designs.
  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

This critical role will be responsible for maintaining communication with the client's site engineers on all project-related issues, and reviewing and implementing mechanical contract drawings and building specifications.

We envisage successin this role to include:

  • Leading and managing all mechanical engineering activities under the Supervision scope of services.
  • Overseeing mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection (mechanical components), and specialist systems relevant to infrastructure.
  • Reviewing and managing mechanical design submissions, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Coordinating closely with architectural, structural, electrical, civil, and other teams to ensure fully integrated infrastructure systems.
  • Managing and reviewing the performance of mechanical design consultants and contractors.
  • Liaising with local authorities, utility providers, and relevant stakeholders to support approvals and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitoring technical quality, risks, and constructibility, with consideration for project conditions where applicable.
  • Supporting construction activities by responding to technical queries, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with approved designs.
  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to mechanical engineering teams.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience, with extensive involvement in infrastructure works.

  • Mandatory consultancy experience, preferably gained from working in a PMCM environment.
