Job summary

Cubic Engineering Consultancy seeks an MEP Design Engineer to develop integrated HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for diverse buildings in Sharjah. You will design load calculations, select equipment, and produce detailed MEP drawings for on-site projects.

The role requires 4-7 years of MEP design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP, and knowledge of UAE codes (DEWA/SEWA/FEWA). Collaboration with architects and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4-7 years of MEP design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and UAE codes.
• Experience with load calculation software (HAP, Trace 700).
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial and residential projects.
• Prepare load calculations, equipment selections, and specifications.
• Create detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Coordinate with architectural and structural teams.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
• Review shop drawings and contractor submittals.
• Ensure designs meet DEWA, SEWA, and FEWA requirements.
