Job summary

Taleo in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Design Senior Engineer to lead MEP design and engineering activities for 400 kV substation projects, from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international standards. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver on schedule.

The role requires 8–12 years of relevant experience in HV substation projects and a Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of engineering/design experience.
• Experience in high-voltage substation projects (400 kV / 220 kV).
• UAE/GCC project experience and familiarity with local authority requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP design and engineering activities from design through construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, protection & control, telecom and other disciplines.
• Review vendor submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and technical proposals.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and monitor deliverables against schedule.
