Job summary

El Sewedy Power UAE Business Group is seeking a Design Senior Engineer to lead MEP design for 400 kV substation projects in the UAE. You will drive design through construction and commissioning, covering HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire protection while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience in power transmission/substations, familiarity with UAE regulations, and a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services engineering.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant engineering/design experience.
• Experience in high-voltage substation projects (400 kV / 220 kV).
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP design and engineering activities for substations from design through commissioning.
• Review MEP calculations, drawings, specs, BOQs and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, protection & control, telecom and others.
