Job summary

NYU Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Manager, Media Relations and Communications, reporting to the Associate Director. You will elevate NYUAD’s visibility through targeted, strategic communications with faculty, staff, media, and stakeholders, both locally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English Literature, Journalism, Creative Writing, or related field.
• Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (preferred).
• Proven ability to work in politically sensitive, high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation of faculty/research/student-related press coverage and build media relationships.
• Manage PR firms and freelance writers locally and internationally.
• Produce monthly update reports and data reporting with government partners.
• Support marketing, design and social media requirements.
