Job summary

ADNOC is seeking a senior Manager, External Communications to shape and deliver the company’s external messaging, brand narrative, and digital presence. You will lead media relations, social media programs, and external campaigns that communicate priorities to key audiences while safeguarding reputation.

The role requires strategic thinking, government stakeholder engagement, and leadership of a 15-person team to execute high-impact communications across channels, including corporate reporting

Qualifications

• 12+ years in external communications, PR or digital media in corporate/government settings.
• Proven media relations, strategic communication plans, and social media leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage crisis communications under pressure.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement with government entities, media, and external agencies.
• Strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams and high-impact programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead external communication programs across media channels.
• Deliver integrated PR programs articulating key messages and growth initiatives.
• Create narratives and messages aligned with the corporate narrative.
• Lead social media strategy and digital marketing aligned with goals.
• Manage relationships with media, influencers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with exec team and HQ to align external communications.
• Support M&A communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop crisis communication plans and coordinate with crisis team.
• Protect corporate reputation through proactive communications.
• Lead a team of 15 communications professionals.
