Job summary

Freesia Electromechanical Works Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical to manage and coordinate mechanical works on construction projects, ensuring execution aligns with drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and the approved programme.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8–12 years of UAE MEP experience, with preferred exposure to residential, high-rise and villa projects, HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
8–12 years of relevant experience in MEP construction projects.
Experience with residential, high-rise and villa projects in UAE preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and mechanical building services.
Understanding of construction drawings, specifications and MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day mechanical MEP activities at the project site.
Supervise HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and other mechanical installations.
Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documents.
Coordinate mechanical works with Civil, Electrical, Architectural and other MEP disciplines.
Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers for technical and site requirements.
Ensure mechanical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and applicable UAE standards.
Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and productivity.
