Job summary

Freesia Electromechanical Works Contracting in the UAE seeks an experienced Project Engineer - Electrical to lead and coordinate electrical works on construction sites, ensuring execution in line with approved drawings, project specs, quality standards, safety rules, and the approved schedule.

You will supervise LV systems, power distribution, lighting and containment, review shop drawings and coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Architectural and other MEP trades to ensure seamless delivery on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in electrical/MEP construction projects.
• Strong UAE experience in residential, high-rise and villa projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical building services, LV systems, power distribution and lighting.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications and MEP coordination.
• Experience in testing, commissioning and project handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day electrical MEP activities at the project site.
• Supervise installation of LV systems, power distribution, lighting, containment, cable systems and related electrical works.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documents.
• Coordinate electrical works with Civil, Mechanical, Architectural and other MEP disciplines.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers on technical and site matters.
• Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and applicable UAE standards.
