Job summary

Leaders Fort LLC. is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage mechanical works on construction sites in the UAE. You will ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and project timelines while coordinating with PMs, electrical and civil teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 8+ years in MEP projects, strong knowledge of UAE codes, and proven on-site execution skills. UAE experience is mandatory for this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction / MEP projects.
• Strong background in HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems.
• Solid knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority approvals.
• Proven experience in site execution and coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical engineering works on site (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Electrical & Civil teams, and Consultants.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (ADDC, DEWA, Civil Defense).
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and HSE compliance.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Support variations, BOQs, and cost control activities.
• Supervise subcontractors, foremen, and site engineers.
• Prepare technical reports, inspections, and as-built documentation.
