Job summary
EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to lead daily maintenance activities for CNC machines and related equipment. You will supervise technical teams, coordinate with production, and ensure adherence to OEM guidelines and safety standards.
The role requires strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating systems, plus proven fault-finding and maintenance planning capabilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Solid knowledge of CNC mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, alignment, and precision maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assign, coordinate, and supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities for CNC machines, SPMs, and related production equipment.
- Lead preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance aligning with OEM recommendations and schedules.
- Monitor breakdowns, allocate resources, and ensure timely restoration to minimize downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis and support troubleshooting of complex mechanical failures.
- Supervise maintenance of spindles, bearings, gearboxes, and machine axes, including ATC/APC systems.
