Job summary
EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for mechanical upkeep of CNC machines and production equipment. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring reliability and optimal uptime across SPMs and associated machinery.
Ideal candidates have at least 8 years in industrial mechanical maintenance with 2+ years in a supervision role, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid grasp of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Strong knowledge of CNC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with TPM, preventive and corrective maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily maintenance for CNCs, SPMs and related equipment.
- Lead preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance per schedules.
- Monitor breakdowns, allocate resources and minimize downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis and guide troubleshooting.
- Oversee maintenance of spindles, bearings, gearboxes and alignment.
- Coordinate with OEM service engineers and suppliers for support.
- Ensure HSE compliance including LOTO and safety standards.
