Sundus Recruitment and Outsourcing Services, Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner (UAEN) to plan, schedule and coordinate mechanical maintenance in a large power plant. You will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime and optimize resources, with emphasis on IBM Maximo CMMS proficiency and strong planning skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in a large power plant, preferably a CCGT facility.
• Experience with GE heavy-duty F-class gas turbines or higher.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling and plant reliability.
• Proficient in IBM Maximo CMMS; knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of maintenance management, spare parts inventory and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and coordination skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities.
• Prepare detailed job plans with manpower, materials, spare parts, tools and resources.
• Manage work orders, backlogs, equipment history and spare parts using IBM Maximo CMMS.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance and Stores to optimize resource availability.
• Analyze recurring failures and propose corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Review completed work orders and identify improvements to preventive/predictive programs.
• Support planned shutdowns, outages, reporting, cost analysis and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate spare parts availability and inventory to support maintenance execution.
• Assist Engineering Manager with maintenance budgeting and planning.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner (UAEN) on behalf of our client in the power generation sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating mechanical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and optimize maintenance resources within a large power plant environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in a large power plant, preferably a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility.
• Experience working with GE heavy-duty F-class gas turbines or higher.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and plant reliability.
• Strong experience in mechanical maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in IBM Maximo CMMS; knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings and technical documentation.
