Sundus Recruitment and Outsourcing Services, Abu Dhabi, seeks an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner for a client in the power generation sector. The role centers on planning preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in a large power plant, with strong emphasis on reliability and resource coordination.

Requirements include 8–10 years in a major power plant, familiarity with GE heavy-duty F-class turbines, and proficiency in IBM Maximo CMMS, MS Project, and MS Office.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of maintenance experience in a large power plant, preferably a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility.
• Experience working with GE heavy-duty F-class gas turbines or higher.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and plant reliability.
• Strong experience in mechanical maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in IBM Maximo CMMS; knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of maintenance management, spare parts inventory, and preventive/predictive maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Flexibility to work weekends or shifts when required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance activities.
• Prepare detailed job plans, including manpower, materials, spare parts, tools, and required resources.
• Manage work orders, maintenance backlogs, equipment history, and spare parts using IBM Maximo (CMMS).
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Stores teams to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure resource availability.
• Analyze recurring mechanical equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Review completed work orders and identify opportunities to improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support planned shutdowns, outage planning, reporting, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate spare parts availability and inventory requirements to support maintenance execution.
• Assist the Engineering Manager with maintenance budgeting and maintenance planning activities.
