Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee daily mechanical maintenance, repair and installation activities, plan manpower and schedules, and ensure safety.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 6-8 years in mechanical maintenance, with experience in rotating and stationary equipment; chemical, chlor-alkali, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries are preferred. Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in rotating and stationary equipment.
• Experience in Chemical, Chlor-Alkali, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas industries preferred.
• Good leadership and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
• Plan and assign manpower, work schedules, and materials.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and ensure timely repairs.
• Monitor preventive maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime.
• Guide and supervise technicians and maintenance teams.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts.
• Ensure work is completed on time, safely, and with good quality.
• Report technical and safety issues to management.
