Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment. You will execute preventive maintenance, inspections, and support breakdown repairs across filling and packaging lines, pumps, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of hands-on maintenance experience, knowledge of P&IDs, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

6–8 years of experience in engineering maintenance.
Knowledge of Chemical Manufacturing or FMCG industries preferred.
Fair written and spoken English is mandatory.
Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and machinery.
Carry out preventive maintenance and periodic inspections according to defined schedules and checklists.
Troubleshoot and maintain liquid and powder filling machines, bottling lines and related equipment.
Read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings and maintenance manuals.
Identify opportunities to reduce breakdowns, waste, energy consumption and maintenance costs.
