Key Responsibilities

• Monitor workshop activities to ensure maintenance and repair work is performed efficiently and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for fabrication, welding and machining issues arising within plant maintenance activities.
• Assess equipment condition and recommend suitable repair, replacement or refurbishment strategies.
• Identify obsolete equipment and coordinate appropriate replacement or life-extension actions.
• Develop corrective maintenance strategies for static equipment and workshop-related mechanical assets.
• Review proposed modifications and additions to existing mechanical systems.
• Provide technical advice to ensure plant modifications remain aligned with company engineering policies, standards and procedures.
