Job summary

Archirodon is seeking a highly experienced Construction Section Head - Mechanical to lead our oil, gas and chemicals division’s mechanical construction activities. You will ensure projects meet ADNOC standards and international codes while coordinating multi-discipline teams on large EPC sites.

The role requires 15+ years in oil & gas/EPC environments, with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years in oil & gas or EPC construction.
• At least 5 years in a senior supervisory role as Construction Section Head.
• Strong experience in piping or rotating/static equipment.
• Experience with ADNOC or major GCC projects.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, site execution and productivity.
• Understanding of ADNOC standards, codes, HSE, risk assessments, and PTW.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure in fast-track projects.
• ADNOC approval or leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction activities per specifications and schedule.
• Ensure day-to-day operations align with the approved plan.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, and Commissioning.
• Ensure manpower, materials, equipment, and resources are available.
• Identify issues and implement corrective solutions to progress.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and work procedures.
• Monitor progress against the schedule and milestones.
• Supervise subcontractors to meet quality, safety and schedule targets.
• Participate in construction meetings and provide technical solutions.
• Implement PTW system and maintain strict safety compliance.
