Job summary

Archirodon Group N.V is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our Oil, Gas and Chemicals Division in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise mechanical site works, interpret drawings, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with contractors and clients to meet project schedules.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience in EPC projects, with strong leadership and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical site execution within Oil & Gas or EPC construction projects.
• Experience supervising Mechanical site execution within Oil & Gas or EPC construction projects.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, client representatives, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, construction standards, HSE requirements, and PTW systems.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspections, and project documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• English – Full Professional Proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute Mechanical site works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and construction schedules.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and other disciplines to ensure smooth site execution.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and approved method statements.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements and participate in regular site safety inspections.
• Monitor construction progress, prepare daily and weekly site reports, and provide progress updates to project management.
• Manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient site execution.
• Identify, report, and resolve site technical issues, coordinating with the Engineering and QA/QC teams as required.
• Liaise with QA/QC and client representatives to support inspections, approvals, and compliance with project quality requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned works and support project handover activities.
