Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Engineer (Commissioning Mechanical) for ADNOC Onshore in Abu Dhabi. Based on onshore site, you will plan, supervise and execute mechanical pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing to ensure safe handover from construction to operations in line with project specs and HSE standards.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in mechanical commissioning within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or EPC projects, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical commissioning experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery or EPC projects.
• Experience with onshore oil and gas facilities is highly preferred.
• ADNOC/ADNOC Onshore project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review approved commissioning procedures, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, vendor manuals and project specifications.
• Develop and execute mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, checklists and test packs.
• Verify Mechanical Completion and RFC status before starting commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Operations, HSE and Construction teams to ensure system readiness.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, equipment inspections and functional testing where applicable.
• Prepare commissioning schedules, daily progress reports and handover dossiers.
