Job summary

Wood is seeking a Lead Materials and Corrosion Engineer for the ADNOC Offshore US LTPD project in Abu Dhabi. The role requires expert oversight of material selection, corrosion control, and integrity management, with RBI and alignment to ADNOC, API and ASME standards.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in oil & gas offshore, PMC experience, and Middle East exposure across major operators, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in oil and gas upstream offshore industry.
• Experience with PMC is highly preferable.
• Middle East / GCC experience on major clients such as Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, PDO, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in Materials and Corrosion for offshore projects.
• Oversee material selection, corrosion control and integrity management per API, ASME, DNV, and ADNOC standards.
• Conduct RBI analyses, audit EPC deliverables and manage cathodic protection and coatings.
• Review Contractor deliverables, TBE and NMR to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop CMP, IOW and perform corrosion modeling (ECE software).
• Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluations with project teams.
