Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer for oil & gas projects to lead materials activities from FEED through detailed engineering. You will craft material selection strategies for process facilities, pipelines and offshore structures to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation.

You will review reports, perform corrosion assessments, and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes while mentoring a team of specialists to deliver high-quality results on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical.
• Minimum 5 years in GCC region.
• Experience on major Oil & Gas projects and leading teams.
• ADNOC & offshore project experience preferred.
• FEED & EPC Phases experience required.
• Knowledge of material selection standards and corrosion engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead materials engineering activities through FEED, EPC and detailed engineering.
• Develop and implement material selection strategies for facilities, pipelines and offshore structures.
• Prepare and review material selection reports, corrosion studies and specs.
• Perform materials selection and corrosion assessments considering design life.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes (NACE, ASME, ASTM, API, ISO).
• Provide technical expertise in coatings, cathodic protection, metallurgy and welding.
• Review vendor documents and support design optimization and risk reviews.
• Mentor and supervise a team of engineers to ensure project delivery.
