MAJID AL FUTTAIM is seeking a Senior Manager - Strategy to partner with the Head of Strategy and leadership across Holding, Retail Executive Committee and Country Teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field. Master's preferred.
• 10-12+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, corporate development, or management consulting within large multinational organizations.
• Proven experience in strategic planning within an omni-channel retail environment, with exposure to commercial, digital, customer experience, marketing, HR, sustainability, or new business ventures.
• Strong expertise in market research, competitive intelligence, business analysis, financial modelling, and the development of strategic business cases.
• Demonstrated track record in evaluating and executing growth opportunities, including strategic partnerships, M&A transactions, and transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex strategic concepts, influence senior leaders, and drive organizational alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, governance, and execution of the corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, country plans, and long-term growth objectives.
• Drive strategic alignment across the organization by embedding and communicating the strategy to senior leadership, corporate functions, and country teams.
• Partner with Transformation, Finance, Human Capital, and Operations teams to monitor strategic performance, evaluate outcomes, and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Identify and assess emerging customer trends, technologies, innovation opportunities, and industry developments to support sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
• Deliver actionable market, competitive, and macroeconomic intelligence, providing thought leadership and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Identify and evaluate organic growth, strategic partnerships, M&A opportunities, and transformational initiatives, developing business cases to support investment decisions.
• Build and strengthen strategy capabilities by establishing governance frameworks, enhancing processes and tools, and ensuring alignment of functional and country strategies.
• Lead, coach, and develop the strategy team while supporting financial planning, resource allocation, and organizational readiness to successfully deliver strategic priorities.

ROLE SUMMARY
