Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai is seeking a Senior Manager – Operations Support & Excellence to lead a large-scale function focused on efficiency, standardization and data-driven improvement.

You will own performance analytics, drive LEAN initiatives, plan CAPEX/OPEX and manpower, and work with cross-functional leaders to translate insight into action. A Bachelor’s degree is required and Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Operations Support & Excellence to help us take that to the next level. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can look across a large and complex operation, understand what the data is telling us, challenge how things are done today and translate insight into measurable improvements.

What will you be leading?

You’ll take ownership of the Operations Support & Excellence function, with a broad remit spanning:

• Operational excellence, efficiency and continuous improvement
• Performance analytics, dashboards, KPIs and data-driven decision making
• LEAN processes and optimisation of cost and resources
• CAPEX, OPEX and manpower planning
• Technology enhancements and operational improvement projects
• Resource planning, deployment and utilisation
• SOPs, SLAs and operational standards
• Business continuity and operational resilience
• Customer communication, ERP transactions, billing and invoicing
• Training, capability building and succession planning

Just as importantly, you’ll lead a sizeable team and work closely with senior operational leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve problems and continuously improve how we operate.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

You’ll bring a minimum of 8 years’ experience leading large-scale operational activities, ideally within logistics, catering and/or an airside environment, together with a strong track record of delivering operational efficiency initiatives and service improvements.

You should be comfortable working with both people and data — able to analyse complex information, identify what needs to change, influence stakeholders and turn ideas into practical solutions.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required, with Lean Six Sigma highly desirable.
