Job summary

Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation in Dubai seeks an experienced IT Demand and Relationship Manager to align IT initiatives with business objectives. You will lead engagement with business units, shape demand strategies, and steer IT projects from idea to delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in IT, including team leadership, and a relevant degree. ITIL Demand Management certification is preferred and you will report to senior management on performance and strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology including at least 3 years of experience in managing a team
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• IT Certification (ITIL Demand Management Certification)

This role is responsible for leading the demand and relationship management strategies to align IT efforts with PCFC's business objectives. This role focuses on fostering engagement with business units and managing IT demand to support strategic goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement strategies for demand and relationship management, ensuring alignment of IT resources with PCFC's overarching business goals.


• Oversee the management of IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget, while meeting or exceeding business unit expectations.


• Foster engagement with business units to identify, document, and validate IT requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of business needs and objectives.


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and facilitate the implementation of solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.


• Manage and prioritize IT demand, balancing business needs with IT capacity to address critical business challenges.


• Ensure IT solutions align strategically with business goals, maximizing ROI and supporting long-term organizational objectives.


• Monitor the performance of IT services and projects, providing insights into their effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.


• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across PCFC and externally to ensure open communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business strategies.


• Establish a structured feedback loop with business units to continuously refine IT services and project delivery based on user experiences and outcomes.


• Drive the continuous improvement of demand management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in meeting business needs.


• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining governance standards across projects.


• Provide regular updates to senior management on the status, challenges, and strategic direction of demand and relationship management efforts, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of experience In Information Technology including at least 3 years of experience in managing a team

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

IT Certification (ITIL Demand Management Certification)
